1. They come recommended to you by a friend, because you have similar interests. You both love to laugh and have fun, you pack your lives with action, but you also each have a sweet side.
2. You most likely do a little research about them – look them up on social media, check out a few pictures, maybe even Google them. (Oh please, like you haven’t done it.)
3. You see them a few times, and all of a sudden you’re in lust.
4. You think about them all the time, and even when you’re out, you’re excited thinking about going home to them. So you make it official and decide to be exclusive, only seeing them.
5. You start to be introduced to the other people in their life. You really like their friends and family, except for that one person you can’t stand….seriously, how does that always happen?
6. You keep seeing them and all is well, until something happens that makes you feel a little uneasy. But you decide to continue on anyways because you’ve come this far, so you might as well stick it out.
7. You hit a reaching point – things could really go either way at this point.
8. You’ve had a good run, but you eventually come to the end. It’s just something that can’t continue – it wasn’t meant to last forever. You maybe cry a little (these things usually end in tears in some way), or maybe if you’re really lucky, you have a few laughs.
9. After a little time, you realize there’s hope for something new. Something that could be even more long-lasting, because this one isn’t just 4 seasons…it’s 7!!!!!!
Ah yes, the wonderful ebb and flow of a Netflix binge.
Why, what did you think I was talking about?
This (and my “recently watched” queue) is why I’m single.
